As the convener of the annual VIP 100+1 WOMEN OF IMPACT AWARDS, This event in partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs hosted by the Women's Affairs Former Minister, Dame Pauline Tallen gained the attention of prominent women in the country including Nigeria's First Lady, Dr Aisha Buhari.
Talabi Taiwo Olusheyi Michael, fondly called Hassan among his Northern friends, is an astute businessman with a deep-rooted passion for impacting lives through education, youth empowerment and gender advocacy. Michael is a member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Africa’s foremost think-tank and intellectual base on foreign policies upon which decision-makers rely for informed opinions and professional recommendations. He is also a member of the British Council and International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF), Germany.
A humble and silent achiever in his own right, he has been inevitably brought under the spotlight of recognition both at home and abroad. His passion for women empowerment and gender advocacy brought him to the discussion table with prominent personalities such as the Head of the European Union Delegation to Nigeria & ECOWAS, Ambassador Samuela Isopi, and the Deputy Minister of Education in Malawi, Madalitso Wirima. He has also held discussions with the High Commissioner of Tanzania in Nigeria, H.E Dr Benson Alfred Bana and more recently discussed improving bilateral relations among African countries with the Somali Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Jamal Barrow.
